Classes

This course offers first-year and transfer students an opportunity to learn valuable skills and information that will help them succeed at UCI both academically and personally. Students will be connected with a staff member to help them enhance strengths while learning about campus values and university resources. The purpose of this course is to aid first-year and transfer students in the transition to a large research university and enhance their UCI experience by providing opportunities to grow and learn.

As leaders, we often have to step into the spotlight to lead our team and carry out a collective vision. What does it look like to infuse the world of theatre into leadership practices?

The course offers UCI students an opportunity to learn valuable skills through a theatre -based leadership lens. Theatre-based leadership infuses experiential learning activities and the power of performing arts to teach students about working with a team, developing oral interpretation skills, and leading with authenticity and vulnerability.

This course offers upperclass students an opportunity to reflect on change and transition in their lives; whether that be navigating change in their personal lives, transitioning to post-grad life, or adapting to adult living. This class will be a space of discussion, planning, obtaining resources, and setting intentions to help our growing Anteaters to be the alumni they are destined to be.
